We help home owners to make the right decisions when determining the necessary actions in order to arrive at the required U-values when upgrading their property's Energy Proficiency Certification (EPC). Domestic Lofts
The most straightforward application of sprayfoam is when it's applied to a domestic loft. Changing your loft from an old fashioned COLD ROOF (with fibreglass / mineral wool) to a state of the art WARM ROOF is the most modern and efficient method available. A typical loft space application would be to spray low density open cell thermal insulation directly to the underside breathable membrane fixed directly to the underside of the roof.
If you don’t have a breathable membrane, we can provide and affix prior to applying the sprayfoam. This will improve heat retention by up to 45% per annum according to the Independent Energy Consulting Group. It will help upgrade your EPC. Keep the roof cool in summer and furthermore provide a clean, usable loft space that’s absent from dirty, inefficient loft floor insulation. The system comes with a 25 year manufacturer's warranty which is beyond an installer's guarantee.
Garage Insulation
Lots of domestic properties have garages that may be used for other purposes than parking the family car. These spaces can be used as workshops, storage spaces, home work stations and many other purposes. With closed cell rigid polyurethane thermal insulation these spaces can typically be made thermally efficient. We can eliminate condensation and prevent it happening in the future. Our systems are tough and resilient; you only apply our systems once for the life of the building. In the depths of winter you'd be able to work in a warm environment and in the summer you'll have a cool environment.
Cellars and Underfloor Insulation
Lots of older properties come with cellars or basement areas that allow cold air to circulate, meaning your heating systems are having to work twice as hard. With closed cell rigid thermal insulation you can eliminate drafts and can make your home warmer, protecting it from drawing in cold air.
