Roof Insulation

The key to having successful application of this type is preparation. We would carefully and meticulously put the tiles/slates back in place and reset prior to the installation of the closed cell sprayfoam. This will ensure the external appearance of the property is restored and the bonding prevents slippage and storm damage.

Closed cell rigid foam is an exceptionally good insulator for basement or ground floor insulation. Where there is a crawl space or cellar this is a very straightforward application and a highly effective one. Because it is closed cell it prevents drafts, cold air ingress and gives you protection for a lifetime, maintenance free.

Furthermore, it could in most cases improve your Energy Proficiency Certificate EPC). Because of its density it encapsulates the underside of the timber and prevents any possible condensation. At the same time the timber breathes from above where it’s exposed in the home. In some cases where there isn’t a crawl space it can possibly be done with robotics, but this is more expensive. All these works come with a 25 year manufacturer's warranty.

Flat Roof Weatherproofing and Insulation
